| Vegetable Pakoras
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ingredients:
1. Besan flourwater
. Just enough to make a paste with all ingredients and the flour 2. Salt
to taste 3. Corriander grinded
.. 1tbs 4. Garam masala grinded
1tsp 5. Red chilli powder
..
2tsp 6. Atta.
..
......... 2tbs 7. Large onion
.
..
1 8. Tomatoes diced small
.
.2 9. Large green chillies
.3 10. Small potato
1 11. Fresh corriander
as req 12. Spring onions
.1/2 cup
Method: 1. After chopping all ingredients put them into a bowl with all the spices. 2. Add 2 large tblsp of Atta and enough Basan Flour to make a moderate paste with all the ingredients added by adding the Atta. 3. It will make the Pakoras softer and less crispier. Be sure not add too much Besan flour to the vegetables chopped as it will taste too much flour and less vegetable. 4. Add a little amount of water to form the vegetable and the flour into a paste making sure all the vegetables are covered in the Besan paste. 5. Heat the oil in a frying and by using a tblsp spoon fry a few Pakoras untill golden brown when cooked taste. 6. So that you can check the salt and the spices and if required add more. 7. Or then just carry on frying untill all are done and they are golden brown on both sides. Serve with mint chutney. | |
