Bahat hi yaad aata hai mere Dil ko tarpaata hai
woh tera paas na hona bohat mujh ko rulaata hai

woh mera teri aankhon ke samandar main uttar jaana
aur teri muskurahat ke bhanwar main doobte jaana

teri awaaz ke saher se na nikal paana
tujh ko dekhna aur be-khudi se dekhte jaana

bohat chaha in guzre hue lamhon ko na sochoon
na teri yaad main reh ke tere saath ka sochoon

bhoola doon saari yaadon ko ke jin se Dil tarapta hai
ke jin se tais utth ti hai ke jin se dard hota hai

magar jab raat aati hai to teri yaad aati hai
tere hi khuwaab hote hain teri hi baat hoti hai

to tay paaya ab mumkin nahi tujh ko bhoola dena
teri yaad main rehna tujhe hi sochte rehna

tujhe jab yaad karte hain to Dil apna tarapta hai
woh tera paas na hona bohat mehsoos hota hai.

lipat ke mujh say galay ro rahi hai tanhai

chalo ke sham hui ab to lautna hai mujhe
ke meray ghar pe meri muntazir hai tanhai

may ja ke us ko sunata hoon hal-e-dil apna
phir apna haal sunati hai mujh ko tanhai

wo rasta ho ke manzil ho ya ke mehfil ho
meri rafeeq ---meri razdar ---tanhai

badi talash say us ko mila hai ghar mera
phiri hai meray liye dar badar ye tanhai

kabhi yahan bhi to qadmo ki aahatain aain
mujhi say kahene lagi hai ye meri tanhai.

mere khwaabon ke jharonko ko sajaanewaali
tere khwaabon mein kaheen mera guzar hai ke nahi
poochkar apni nigaahon se bata de mujhko
meri raaaton ke muqaddar mein sehar hai ke nahi

chaar din ki ye rafaaqat jo rafaaqat bhi nahi
umr bhar ke liye aazar huee jaati hai
zindagi yoon to hamesha pareshaan si thi
ab to har saans girran-baar huee jaati hai

meri ujdi huee neendo ke sahbistaanon mein
tu kisi khwaab ke paikr ki tarah aayee hai
kabhi apni si kabhi gair nazar aati hai
kabhi ikhlaas ki moorat kabhi harjaayee hai

pyaar par bas to nahi hai mera,lekin phir bhi
tu bata de ke tujhe pyaar karoon ya na karoon
toone khud apne tabassum se jagaaya hai jinhe
un tamannao ka izhaar karoon ya na karoon

tu kisi aur ke daamn ki kali hai lekin
meri raatein teri khushboo mein basi rehti hai
tu kaheen bhi ho tere phool se aariz ki kasam
teri palkein meri aankhon pe jhuki rehati hain

tere haaton ki haraat,tere saanso ki mehak
tairati rehtee hai ehsaas ki pehnaai mein
dhondti rehti hai takheel ki baahein tujhko
sard raaton ki sulagti huee tanhaai mein

tere altaafo karam ek haqeeqat hai magar
ye haqeeqat bhi haqeeqat mein fasaana na ho
teri manoos nigaahon ka ye mohtaat payaam
dil ke khoon karne ka ek aur bahaana na ho

kaun jaane mere imroz ka farda kya hai
qurbatein badhke pashemaan bhi hi jaati hain
dil ke daaman se lipti huee rangeen nazarein
dekhte-dekhte anjaan bhi ho jaati hai

meri darmaanda jawaani ki tamannao ke
muzmahil khwaab ki tabeer bata de mujhko
tere daaman mein gulistaan bhi hain veeraane bhi
mere haasil meri taqdeer bata de mujhko.

pholon k nasheman mai raha hon sada se,
dekho kabhi gairoon se mera zikar na karna..

shahyad ye andehre he mujhe rah dekhai,
ab chaand sitaro se mera zikar na karna..

wo meri kahani ko ghalat rang na de de,
afsana nigaro se mera zikar na karna..

shayad wo mere haal pe be-sakhta roo de,
is bar baharo se mera zikar na karna..

le jaingay gehrai mai tum ko bhi baha kar,
darya k kinaro se mera zikar na karna..

wo shakhs mile tou ussay har baat batana,
tum sirf isharo se mera zikar na karna.

Ye jo sar guzishta se phirte hain kitaabo'n waale
in se mat mil ke inhe rog hain khwaabo'n waale

ab maah-o-saal ki mohlat nahi milne waale
aa chuke ab to shab-o-roz azaabo'n waale

ab to sab dashna-o-khanjar ki zubaa'n bolte hain
ab kahaan log mohabbat ke nisaabo'n waale

jo dilo'n par hi kabhi hakaab zani karte thhey
ab gharo'n tak chale aaye wo nikaabo'n waale

zinda rehne ki tamanna ho to ho jaate hain
faakhto'n ke kirdaar bhi uqaabo'n waale

na mere zakhm khile hain na tera rang-e-hina
ab ke mousam hi nahi aaye gulaabo'n waale

yoon lagta hai ke qismat ka sikandar hai FARAZ
magar andaaz hain sab khaana kharaabo'n wale.

Dil ki chokhat pe jo ik deep jala rakha hai
tere lout ane ka amkhan saja rakha hai

saans tak bhi nahin layte hain tujhe sochte waqt
ham ne is kam ko bhi kal pe utha rakha hai

rooth jate ho tu kuch aur haseen lagte ho
ham ne ye soch ke hi tum ko khafa rakha hai

tum jisse rota hya chor gay thay ik din
ham ne is shaam ko seenay se laga rakha hai

chain layne nahin dayta ye kisi tor mujhay
teri yadon ne jo tofaan utha rakha hai

jane wale ne kaha tha ke wo lotay ga zaroor
ik issi aas pe darwaza khula rakha hai

tere jane se jo ik dhool uthi thi gam ki
ham ne is dhool ko ankhon main bassa rakha hai

mujh ko kal shaam se wo yaad bohat ane laga
dil ne muddat se jo ek shaks bhula rakha hai

akhri bar jo aya tha mere naam wasi
main ne us khaat ko kalaije se laga rakha hai..!!~
