Urdte hain hawaon mein, to sansein milti kum hain,
Jahaan bhi nazar karoo, tasveer sirf mere sanam ki hain,
Baaton mein aate hain woh, kabhi zindagi mein nahi milte hain,
Meri hi hogi koi khatta, jo mile mujhe itne ghum hain,
Berkuhi ke kiste bund karde, yeh humari unse dua hain,
Har pun-ne (Page) pe likhe, humare liye zulm-o-sitam hain,
Do pal zindagi se liye udhaar, chain se do pal sone (Sleep) ko,
Aankhein japki jese, sapna banke aaye phir, mere kaafir sanam hain! | |
