| Najane q meri shairi ka unwan ban jate ho tum,
Sub kuch jante howe bhi anjan ban jate ho tum,
Na koi rishta hay tum se na koi talluk,
phir bhi na jane q mera man ban jate ho tum,
Me jo bhi likhta hon bat zara qarene se,
Mera geet meri shaira mera deewan ban jate ho tum,
Dil se jo nikalti hai, labon pe aa k dum tor deti hay,
Woh tamanna, wo hasrat wo arman ban jate ho tum.
Main lakh karon koshish tum se tark-e-tlluq ki,
Phir bhari mehfil main meri pehchan ban jate ho tum. *****************************************************************
Meri har khata par naaraaz na hona,
Apni pyaari si muskaan kabhi na khona,
Sukoon milta hai dekh kar aapki muskuraahat ko,
Mujhe maut bhi aaye toh bhi matt rona....

Apne dard ko dikhana chaha,to ajnabiyo ki tarah aankhe mod li,
paas rahne k liye unke, ek baar phir hamne muskurahat ki chadar oodh li
